La Barbarie Refurbishment Program Update |
Our rolling programme of guest bedroom refurbishment continues apace and we are delighted to report that this Winter the one bedroomed Self Catering apartment block had a much needed new pressurised water system installed.
|

Last year's similar project on the Hotel was a great success enabling “Happy Bath Times” for all our guests.
In addition to welcoming the plumbers back we will also refurbished more standard rooms and introduced new soft furnishings to the majority of hotel bedrooms.
Room 19 one of our ground floor rooms has been totally refurbished and now has a walk in shower room.
Room 5 has also been redecorated, recarpeted and boasts a newly installed shower room.
For guests that enjoy a doze on their balcony we have thoughtfully added posh frosted glass etched with the hotel name just in case you wake up not knowing where you are. |

Ravis whistled a merry tune as he sat at the BAR WITH BEER in hand. It had been a fruitful day with great results. He’d managed to buy a EWE BIRTH BRA for his vet friends birthday present and had managed to get a dry cleaning gift voucher for Sally. (She was always dirtying HER WATER BIB).
"Oi ‘Brew breath", shouted the barman, "BREW BREATH I ?" Ravis was astonished that the man could be so cheeky to the man who had found him a job. He had met the new barman cutting hair in the jungle. The hairdresser hadn't really fitted in there, so he had asked Ravis to help him find him a job in Guernsey. "Sorry", offered the former WHITE BARBER.* Ravis didn't like people mentioning his BREWER HABIT, in fact he’d paid Churchill off not to mention it 50 years ago.
THE WAR BRIBE worked. That was the last time HE THREW A BRIBE. Then he got up and went home to open a bottle of local beer!
