Our rolling programme of guest bedroom refurbishment continues apace and we are delighted to report that this Winter we installed a new pressurised water system - the Superior Rooms Annex, Main Hotel rooms and Apartment Block are all under pressure ~ I feel a song coming on!

Standard Rooms Looking Superior
In addition to welcoming the plumbers back, we also refurbished two more Standard Rooms on the ground floor - Rooms 20 and 21 have been refurbished from tip to toe and now also have walk-in shower rooms.
Rooms 4 and 8 have been re-decorated, re-carpeted and now boast lovely new shower rooms and we installed a brand new shower room in Room 7 (well, the plumbers were here anyway). . .

Spotlight on Superiors
We have added four more rooms in the Superior Annex. These brand new rooms are finished to the high quality you have come to expect from La Barbarie.
Rooms 31 and 32 have been added to the lower floor with smart little terraces looking onto our Pool area and Rooms 37 and 38 have joined the first floor and have stunning balconies to relax and unwind on. |

Love is in the air as our Maintenance Technician and waitress, Noro and Mariana, snuck off in the Winter months and got themselves married - yes, to each other!
They returned to Guernsey in late February and then and only then did they think to tell us! We’re delighted to have this loyal pair back for another season - and now that it’s all above board they can share a room!

| Heritage Festival is Under Way |
The Channel Islands Heritage Festival is underway and runs from 25th March to 10th May
It celebrates this small group of islands and their BIG history and is packed with hundreds of events, exhibitions and activities that culminate in the Annual Liberation Day celebrations on 9th and 10th May.
Unwind and indulge as you explore some fascinating venues and learn about The Islands rich and timeless relationship with the sea.
